Things started well for Stirling with a win on board 3, but it was down-hill after that. Robin lost on board 5 after attacking Dave's Queen with an undefended piece, then Shivan lost on board 1. Jim agreed a draw on board 2, which left me fighting for a win to draw the match on board 4. I'd been skirting around Graham's King for much of the game, but could never find the breakthrough. Things got a bit silly in the allegro finish when Graham forked my rook and pawn with his bishop, then forgot to defend the bishop. Although I had a slight material advantage, I wasn't able to do anything with it, and a draw was agreed with both players down to under 2 minutes.
