The club championship, known as the Richardson Cup, got under way on Monday night. Paul Prescott started his defence of the trophy with a win against Robin Hayles, while Steve Smith joined him on 1/1 by defeating John Blake.
The first qualifier to be played saw Dave Hewitt defeat Martyn Roe. This game is below, where Dave has White.
